1. Who we are
MyCIO.ai is operated by Parsenne, Inc. In this policy, “Parsenne,” “we” and “us” refer to Parsenne, Inc. Contact us at privacy@parsenne.com.
MyCIO.ai helps people model financial goals, scenarios and choices using information they provide. It does not hold money or place trades.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you use MyCIO.ai, we may process:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account information | Name, email address, authentication records and account dates. |
| Financial planning information | Household details, jurisdiction, income, assets, liabilities, goals, dates and tax facts you enter or confirm. |
| Plans and conversations | Saved plans, scenario inputs, modeled results, messages, uploaded documents and source notes. |
| Purchase and support records | Purchase status, transaction references, subscription status and support correspondence. |
| Technical and usage information | Device and browser details, security events, error diagnostics and, if you allow analytics, product-usage events. |
You do not need to connect a bank or brokerage account to use MyCIO.ai. Do not send us bank passwords, brokerage credentials or a full payment-card number. Card payments are handled by Paddle, our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number. We receive the purchase status and transaction references needed to provide and support the service.
3. Why we use it
| Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|
| Provide and support MyCIO.ai | Performance of our contract with you, including saving plans and responding to your requests. |
| Protect the service | Our legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention and reliable operations. |
| Improve the product | Our legitimate interests in understanding and improving the service, using data appropriate to that purpose. |
| Optional analytics | Your consent, which you can withdraw through your browser’s site-data controls. |
| Payment, tax and legal records | Performance of our contract and compliance with legal obligations. |
MyCIO’s product team can view the custom functions you create, to check them and to improve the planning engine for everyone; no other user can see them.
4. Service providers
We do not sell personal information. We use providers to operate the service, and give them information needed for their role. The providers used for a particular interaction depend on the feature and payment method you choose.
| Service | Provider or provider category | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Hosted accounts and data | Supabase | Authentication, hosted database and file storage. |
| AI response generation | OpenAI and Anthropic | Processes relevant message and planning context to generate responses when the applicable assistant feature is used. |
| Payments | Paddle | Processes payment details and returns purchase or subscription status and transaction references. |
| Error monitoring | Sentry | Receives technical diagnostics used to find and fix failures. |
| Optional analytics | PostHog and Google Analytics | Receives product-usage information only after you allow analytics. Session replay, when enabled, masks page text and form inputs. |
| Service delivery | Application hosting, network, content-delivery and transactional-email providers, including Cloudflare where enabled | Hosts and delivers the application, protects traffic and sends service messages. |
If you access MyCIO through another assistant or connector, that service also processes what you send under its own privacy terms. Review those settings before sharing sensitive information.
5. International transfers
Parsenne and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where data-protection law requires a transfer safeguard, we rely on a lawful mechanism made available by the relevant provider or agreement, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual clauses. Contact us if you need information about safeguards for your data.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict or object to processing of your information, and to withdraw consent. Settings provides controls to download your data and request account deletion. You can also contact privacy@parsenne.com.
Account deletion removes active account and planning information from the service. Limited payment, fraud-prevention, security or legal records may need to remain, and deletion from provider backups follows the provider’s backup lifecycle.
You may complain to the data-protection authority where you live. UK residents can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office; EU residents can contact the supervisory authority in their member state.
7. Cookies and local storage
MyCIO uses browser storage needed for authentication, security, language, referral attribution and preserving work in progress. These functions are needed to provide the service. Storage names and expiry can change as the application and its providers update.
PostHog and Google Analytics run only after you allow analytics. If you choose “Essential only” or do not make a choice, optional analytics does not run. You can withdraw permission by clearing this site’s data in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.
8. Retention
We keep active account, plan and conversation information while it is needed to provide your account. We keep technical, support and purchase records only as long as needed for security, support, accounting, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Optional analytics follows the analytics provider’s configured retention period. Deleted information may remain temporarily in provider backups until those backups expire or are overwritten.
We may retain information longer when required by law, needed to resolve a dispute or necessary to protect the service and its users. Where appropriate, we may aggregate or de-identify information so it no longer identifies you.
